“I’d like to thank PCSSD for allowing me the time to serve as superintendent,” McNulty said. “I am so proud of the achievements our students and professional staff have accomplished over the last 6.5 years.”
The release states Dr. Jerry Guess, who was the district’s superintendent from 2011 to 2017, will serve as interim superintendent.
“I’m excited to be back in PCSSD,” Guess said. “I look forward to working with the staff to bridge the gap over the next six months to finish the school year on a strong note.”
“I look forward to stepping in as superintendent here in PCSSD,” Guess added. “Although this transition takes place in the middle of the school year, I assure you that we will continue to provide top notch education for our students and positive leadership for our staff. Thanks to the existing leadership in the District, we have the right systems in place to ensure that we head into the second semester of the school year on a positive note and aim to finish strong.”
