Rebel Wilson slammed by Boy George after making another accusation about being mistreated in Hollywood

Boy George has hit out at Rebel Wilson sparking a surprise feud with the Hollywood actress.

The Culture Club icon slammed Wilson for accusing the producers of the movie The Deb of wrongdoing.

The film was set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, but the Bridesmaids star alleged that Amanda Ghost, Gregory Cameron, and executive producer Vince Holden “buried” it intentionally. They have denied these claims.

Boy George, defending his friend Amanda, accused Wilson, who took to Instagram in a detailed video sharing her accusations, of fabricating “outrageous and painfully untrue things.”

Talking about the planned release at the Toronto Film Festival, the actress said, ā€œSo to have the joy of the movie being selected is one thing.

“But then to have the business partners involved in that movie turn around and say that, ā€˜No, the movie canā€™t premiere,ā€™ is just beyond devastating.

“Why are they saying this? Why are they stopping it from premiering at Toronto? Well, this dates back to October of last year, where I discovered bad behaviour by these business partners.

“I just tell it how it is. So Iā€™m just going to tell you who they are, the so-called producers of the film. I use that phrase very lightly.

“Their names are Amanda Ghost and Gregory Cameron, and an executive producer who works with them called Vince Holden. So these are the people involved.ā€

She went on to describe how she reported what she called inappropriate behaviour by the married couple and executive producer Holden toward the movie’s lead actor.

She continued, ā€œAnd so I reported their bad behaviour when I found out. So kind of really important things. “Since I reported that behaviour, I have been met with absolute viciousness and retaliatory behaviour. So Iā€™m there on set.

“Iā€™m trying to film my movie with my gorgeous Australian cast and crew who are so amazing shout out to all of you guys.

“And yet every step of the way, these people who I complained about then tried to make my life hell,ā€ she said, calling their behaviour “vile and disgusting.”

In his Instagram video, Boy George tagged Wilson, asserting that he knew “these things aren’t true.”

He said, “I just can’t sit here and listen to this and listen to the comments that people are making without knowing any information.

“I met Amanda when she was 17 years old and she was working in a club and I’ve watched her rise to become the president of Sony Music to running a film company and she is a strong powerful woman.”

Wilson has previously accused others of trying to sabotage her work. She claimed actor Sacha Baron Cohen attempted to prevent the release of her memoir, in which she made several allegations about him from their time working on The Brothers Grimsby.  All the claims have been strenuously denied by Baron Cohen and his representatives.

Amid the legal battle, she stated on Instagram, ā€œI will not be bullied or silenced by high-priced lawyers or PR crisis managers.ā€
