Road rage suspect identified in Franklin

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities have identified a man accused of assaulting a driver during an apparent road rage incident in Franklin last weekend.

The incident happened in a parking lot near Franklin Road and Moores Lane on the afternoon of Saturday, June 29.

According to the victim, the man approached his car window, upset that the victim had cut him off in his vehicle prior to the altercation, according to Franklin police.

The victim told officers the man punched him in the face, causing pain and bruising to his mouth and eye area. The driver then left the scene in what is believed to be a silver Toyota Tundra.

Franklin police reported Tuesday morning the suspect has been identified.

No additional information was immediately released.
