The Buffalo Sabres have annouced that forward Sam Lafferty will not return against the Vancouver Canucks due to a lower-body injury.

Lafferty, 29, has played in 22 games this season, where he has one goal to go along with a minus-2 rating.
Lafferty joined the Sabres this past off-season when he signed a two-year, $4 million contract in free agency. This was after he spent the 2023-24 season with the Canucks, where he had 13 goals, 24 points, and 191 hits in 79 games.
