Sarovar Hotels expands in Punjab, India, with 70-key property

Hospitality management company Sarovar Hotels has inaugurated its second hotel in Amritsar, in the Indian state of Punjab.

The 70-key property opened in partnership with Sarb Alliance Hospitality is Sarovar Hotels’ seventh hotel in the state.

The hotel offers deluxe, executive, premium rooms, junior, and royal suites; a multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant with seating for 120 people; and an upcoming rooftop restaurant with panoramic city views.

The banqueting and conferencing facilities can accommodate nearly 600 people to be used for events, weddings, and corporate gatherings.

Sarovar Hotels managing director Ajay K Bakaya said: Amritsar holds a special place in our vision for growth and this launch reaffirms our commitment to expanding our footprint in the region.

Sarovar Hotels manages more than 135 operational hotels in 85 destinations in India and overseas under various brands, including Sarovar Premiere, Sarovar Portico, Hometel, and Golden Tulip.
