Karachi: Boom Boom Shahid Afridi who is a former Pakistan team captain, and the all-rounder of the Quetta Gladiators team in PSL has tested positive for coronavirus. Currently, Afridi is in quarantine at home following the PCB’s protocols and will join the squad after seven days of quarantine and negative test, said Azam Khan the Quetta Gladiators Manager.
As per the sources, Shahid told the management about “Suffering from back pain”. Earlier than this, his close relative of his wife had passed away. Two days ago, Wasim Akram, Wahab Riaz, and Haider Ali also tested positive for COVID-19.
