A woman is livid after her £250 Asda shopping turned up without her Christmas turkey.
Clare Noble says she ordered the meat more than a month ago and has slammed the supermarket for failing to deliver.
Addressing the retailer directly on social media, she said: “Hi Asda – I’ve just received my shopping, you know, the all important shopping for Christmas Day – the turkey I ordered over a MONTH ago, where is it???? £250 spent with you and you have the audacity to deliver this order with no ruddy TURKEY!!!!”

She was angered even further by the fact that Asda substituted the beer she ordered.
Clare added: “Oh, and you substituted Kronenberg for Budweiser – wtf is wrong with you!” and finished off her message with a rather sarcastic: “Christmas chilli it is then.”
Thankfully the 58-year-old told us she’s still managed to get a turkey crown in time for the Boxing Day meal she’s cooking for four.
She said: “It’s rather farcical the whole thing. I managed to get a Turkey in Tesco thankfully. It meant I had to do the very thing I was trying to avoid, joining in the carnage of the Christmas food shop.
“So it was a waste of time booking a delivery all those weeks ago. Plus I ended up buying more cheese. I can’t resist, even though I bought practically my body weight in cheese at the Manchester Christmas Markets a couple of weeks ago.”

Clare, who lives in Southampton, sent the Budweiser back on the Asda van and managed to also pick up the Kronenberg with her Tesco shop.
She’s not the only one having dramas with their deliveries this year.
We reported earlier how Morrisons shoppers hit out at the supermarket saying their Christmas food orders had been delayed and cancelled on one of the year’s busiest shopping days.
Customers also complained to the retailer that More Card discounts were not being applied at the tills – leaving them having to pay more for shopping.
Morrisons has now apologised and said all stores have made the top 100 More Card prices the regular price at checkouts. This includes the 10p veg offer.
In addition, More Card customers have been given an extra 10% off their entire shop as an apology.
An Asda spokesperson said: “We will deliver more than one million Christmas orders this week across the UK and whilst we always try to make sure every delivery is perfect; delays or missing items can occasionally affect a small number of orders. We will contact these customers to try and find a solution as soon as possible.”
