Silver Alert issued for missing Milwaukee woman, 71, with ‘memory-related issues’

The Milwaukee Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 71-year-old Milwaukee woman.

Carolyn Ann Thompson was last seen on foot in the area of the 5300 block of North 69th Street around midnight on Thursday. Police say Thompson suffers from “memory-related issues” and “will not remember/know where she is going.”

Thompson is about 5 feet, 6 inches and 130 pounds. She has brown, shoulder-length hair in dreadlocks and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket (possibly North Face brand), white nylon Adidas pants and red Uggs boots.

Silver Alerts are issued for elderly persons who are missing and believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Anyone with information on Thompson’s whereabouts should call the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7242.
