Authorities in Floyd County are looking for a missing senior woman who was last seen in Lockney.
A Silver Alert was issued just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for Maria Perez, 79, who was last seen around 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Shurbet Street, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Perez is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and black pants, DPS said.
Perez could be driving a black 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander bearing Texas license plate THV2052, according to DPS.
Anyone who sees Perez or may have information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911, or the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office at 806-983-4901.
