Sir David Jason makes rare red carpet appearance hours after death of Only Fools co-star Diane Langton

Sir David Jason attended the Cirque du Soleil Corteo Premiere hours after the sad announcement that his Only Fools and Horses co-star Diane Langton had died.

The actor, 84, was supported by his wife, Gill Hinchcliffe, and daughter Sophie at the event at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday evening.

The dresscode for the star-studded event was “harlequin” and for his part, the Delboy Trotter star sported a red and purple patterned jumper, red trousers and matching shoes.

Over his eye-catching ensemble he wore a darker trench coat and kept his head warm from the winter chill with a flap cap.
