Six people were displaced following a dryer fire at an apartment complex in Hartford on Monday.
Firefighters responded to 1450 Main St. at 7:26 p.m. on the report of a fire at an occupied apartment complex, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
The first crews at the scene found that a dryer fire was being contained by a sprinkler system in the building, fire officials said. The fire created heavy smoke conditions in one of the apartment units.
