By early Monday morning, the NWS was more comfortable making a prediction for snow than over the weekend, according to the post.

“Recent model trends are leading to higher confidence in the potential for accumulating snowfall across West Central Texas Wednesday evening into Friday morning,” according to a Facebook post from NWS.
