South Bend police officer arrested Sunday on accusation of domestic violence

SOUTH BEND — An officer with the South Bend Police Department was arrested Sunday, Nov. 17 and relieved of duty after being accused of domestic violence.

A South Bend Police Department news release said 35-year-old David Finn was arrested and held at the St. Joseph County Jail, but there was no indication Sunday night on the jail website that he had been booked into the jail.

The news release said police had recommended a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, but charging decisions are made by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor‘s office.
