Stacey Solomon addresses ‘estranged’ Joe Swash relationship after heading out solo with kids

Stacey Solomon has joked that she has been ‘estranged’ from husband Joe Swash as his busy work schedule keeps him away from home. The Loose Women star addressed her relationship with the former EastEnders star in a new video.

Stacey, who shares three children with Joe Swash, has two of her own from two earlier relationships, and is also step mum to Joe’s eldest son, was seen back at their Essex home on Sunday night (November 24) following a solo outing with some of their brood.

The mum-of-five filmed herself and Joe relaxing on the sofa as she said: “Home sweet home with my husband who has been estranged.” She laughed as he interjected: “I’ve had to leave the real world to join the Panto world.”

Former I’m A Celebrity and Dancing on Ice winner Joe will star in Beauty and the Beast this pantomime season at The Grove in Dunstable and has been brought in to play the ‘Buttons’-style character to provide some comic relief.

Stacey, 35, continued with pride: “He’s doing panto this year whicht he kids are so excited about. I can’t wait to see their faces…. But what that means is he’s in rehearsals now every day until he starts then he doesn’t finish until the 7th of Jan. So between the hours of 6 in the morning when he leaves and 8pm at night when he gets back, we don’t get to see him.”

Joe then said: “But don’t worry, mate. I’ll come home in my costume one night and surprise you!” Stacey didn’t seem impressed as she replied: “Well we’re going to come and see you in your costume,” to which Joe said: “I’ll bring it home just for you.” But Stacey wasn’t feeling his same vibe as she said: “Well you character is Phillipe Flop, so what are you? A giant flip-flop? If you think that’s going to turn me on, your wrong!”

The video came after Stacey stepped out for a screening of Moana 2 with Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle, who she shares with Joe, and her eldest son Zachary. Sharing picture from the Disney premiere on Instagram, she said: “It was so special to take them. Rex love Moana so much were had a Moana birthday party for him once. I even amde Joe a crab costume. The girls LOVE it too and Zachy’s here is @therock and guest what…”

She followed-up the post with a video of Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson talking to them outside on the sandy-coloured carpet. He gave Rose a high-five and shook Zach’s hand before asking him his age. “We got to meet @therock and he was the NICEST man,” Stacey emotionally told he rmillions of followers.

She added: “He had so much time for everyone. He chatted, gave high-fives and was just so, so lovely. Zach was so happy. Meet your heroes, if your hero is The Rock.”
