The stock market made another push higher following the release of minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee’s December meeting, but it was struggling to hold on.
The S&P 500 was up 0.2% after giving up an earlier gain in the wake of the minutes. The Dow was up 90 points, or 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%. Stocks have been bouncing around all afternoon, though the major indexes haven’t fallen far or posted more than meager gains.
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was down to 4.291%. The 10-year yield was up to 4.706%.
