Tesla’s Earnings Fell Short. The Stock Is Falling.

Tesla reported worse-than-expected second-quarter earnings on Tuesday.

The EV maker reported earnings per share of 52 cents from sales of $25.5 billion. Wall Street was looking for 61 cents in EPS and $24.5 billion in sales, according to FactSet.

Tesla stock was down 1% in after-hours trading shortly after the results were released.
