The Dow and S&P 500 Hit Record Highs to Close Out a Stellar Month

Two of the three blue-chip indexes set new closing highs on Black Friday, the final session of what has been a blowout November.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 192 points, or 0.4%, to hit a record 44,915 points. The S&P 500 climbed 0.6% to 6,032 points.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite was also in the green, rising 0.8%. It’s trading just short of the all-time high it hit on Nov. 11.
