NEWBURGH, Ind. — As of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Indiana’s newest displaced left turn had opened at Indiana 66 and Epworth Road.
Drivers in the area will experience new traffic movements, as all left turns are now made in two steps instead of one.
Epworth will be one of four displaced left turn intersections on the Lloyd Expressway after all construction is complete.
Indiana Department of Transportation Southwest spokesman Gary Brian said there still would be the possibility of a few small tweaks − getting stoplight timing programmed correctly, and some painting of medians. But Tuesday morning had gone well since the opening.

Lloyd Expressway and Stockwell Road
