Treasury Yields Rise to Start Shortened Session

Treasury yields rise on Christmas Eve, with the 10-year on path to its highest close since early May while the two-year remains constrained within a tighter range.

No major data points are scheduled today and bond markets will close earlier, at 2 p.m. ET.

In data released yesterday, durable goods orders, new home sales and consumer sentiment all came in below expectations.
