Columbus police homicide detectives are investigating after two people died following a shooting Tuesday night on the city’s East Side.
Police were called around 10 p.m. on a report of a sh.ooting at a ranch home on the 1200 block of Carolwood Drive, located off the east side of Beechwood Road and north of East Livingston Avenue.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police dispatch said. The other person was transported in critical condition to Mount Carmel East Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

No further information about the incident or whether any suspects were identified was immediately available.
