Aug. 12—The Texas Department of Transportation will reconstruct the existing bridge class culverts and adjacent roadways and intersections of Scharbauer Drive in Midland County. The contractor is scheduled to begin work August 19. This project is anticipated to be completed summer 2025.
Roadway closures will be in place on Main Street at Scharbauer Draw and Scharbauer Drive from Lamesa St. to Carver St.
Federal funding made this project feasible. This project is a joint effort between the City of Midland and TxDOT.
