UPDATE: Missing NMSU student found safe in Nevada

UPDATE: Missing New Mexico State University student Aubrey Marie Owen has been located and is safe in Nevada, the university said Sunday morning, Oct. 13.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — New Mexico State University Police are looking for a missing NMSU student, the university said late Saturday night, Oct. 12.

Aubrey Marie Owens is driving a white 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck with Arizona license plates, PEA85T.

Aubrey Marie Owen is 18 years old, 5-foot-11-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds, the university said in a news release.

She was reported missing by her parents on Saturday, Oct. 12 after she had not been heard from for several days, NMSU said.

She is driving a white 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck with Arizona license plates, PEA85T.
 
NMSU Police are asking anyone who may have seen Owen or have information about her to contact the NMSU Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
