Heavy rain, hail and powerful gusts reaching 80 mph lashed the Greater Cleveland area, amid severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings on Tuesday, August 6.
The National Weather Service reported a number of radar-indicated and observed tornados across northeast Ohio.
Footage recorded by Cleveland resident Matt Shiffler shows motorists battling through heavy downpours, and the city’s North Coast Harbor skyline engulfed by mist.
