An investigation has been launched after police were filmed appearing to beat and kick a man while he was pinned to the ground by officers at Manchester Airport.
The video, reportedly filmed by a holidaymaker, appears to show a number of officers striking the man during an arrest at the airportâs bus terminal on Sunday afternoon.
One officer, holding a pair of handcuffs, can be seen hitting the man in the stomach and aiming kicks at him.
Another officer holding the manâs head is also shown appearing to hit the man in the clip.
Later footage shows five officers restraining the man on the floor.

Greater Manchester Police said it was reviewing the video, first published online by Manchester Evening News.
A spokesman said: âWe understand the concerns around the use of force shown on the clip and our professional standards unit is assessing all available footage including the officersâ body-worn cameras and CCTV.â
The man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, police said.
Earlier this month, two men were charged with assaults on police officers after footage of an incident at the airport went viral online in July, but no charges were brought against police.
