Watch storms on Tallahassee, Florida radar as expected Tropical Storm Debby threatens

Tropical Depression Four is expected to strengthen and become Tropical Storm Debby as it moves northward through the Gulf of Mexico and is forecast to make landfall along the Big Bend coast late Sunday or Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee.

Gov. Ron DeSantis expanded a state of emergency to 61 of Florida’s 67 Friday and activated the Florida National Guard ahead of the storm.

The depression is expected to become Tropical Storm Debby later Saturday and to approach hurricane strength before making landfall.
