WAUKESHA, Wis. – Two people were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a business in Waukesha on Monday, Dec. 30.
It happened just before 1:30 p.m. at BAM Motors LLC, near West and Sunset. Upon arrival, firefighters noted a fully involved fire in the garage area.
The structure was occupied at the time of the fire. All workers safely evacuated before fire crews arrived. Two workers were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes.
Officers from the Waukesha Police Department assisted with scene control and accounting for all employees of the business. The building suffered significant smoke and fire damage.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Waukesha Fire and Police Departments but does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
