EARLY RAIN AND CLOUDS

The remnants of Debby along with a frontal boundary are moving through this morning. The rain will be out of Boston around 8am, but will linger a bit long across southeastern Massachusetts. Plan on sunshine breaking through the clouds by mid-morning in Boston and closer to midday for the Cape and Islands. It will be a warm afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s, it will feel quite humid through the early afternoon. Eventually the dew points and humidity will drop later today, making it feel much more comfortable. With the sunshine and warmer weather, folks will likely be heading to the beach today. Use extra caution with a moderate and even high risk for rip currents, waves will also be choppy with a High Surf Advisory in place on the Cape and Islands and south coast through 8pm.

NEXT WEEK

We are in for a nice and welcome quiet pattern ahead next week! It will be a bit cooler and more comfortable early Sunday morning. After waking up in the upper 50s highs will rebound to the low 80s with lower humidity and plenty of sunshine. We will hold on to a similar weather pattern through the end of next week. Right now our next best chance for showers and storms will arrive Thursday, but be sure to check back in with us for any adjustments there.
