The San Francisco 49ers were expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL. The Los Angeles Rams, not so much.
But the Rams are hanging with their NFC West rival at SoFi Stadium, tied 17-17 late in the third quarter. In fact, the Rams were leading until 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan rolled the dice to end the first half and scored a touchdown, when failing to do so would’ve meant no points whatsoever on the possession.
