Weekend snow in NY, NJ: Here’s what you should know

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Snow showers are making their way to New York and New Jersey this weekend.

Snow could start falling as early as 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures are expected to be in the low-30s.

Less than an inch of accumulation is expected in much of New York and New Jersey.

Flakes are anticipated to clear out of the tri-state area by Saturday night. Partly cloudy skies will move in on Sunday, with high temperatures reaching 40 degrees.
