What is the snow emergency level today? See Cincinnati road conditions

Several counties across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky remain under snow emergencies Wednesday in the wake of a winter storm. The storm left snow-covered streets and made travel treacherous. The storm dumped 10-plus inches of snow and was followed by extreme cold resulting in some schools remaining closed for a third day.

Snow emergency levels on Wednesday

Several Greater Cincinnati counties remained under level 1 snow emergencies Wednesday morning.

Those include Hamilton and Clermont counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky. Butler and Warren counties are no longer under a snow emergency.

A level 1 snow emergency means roadways are hazardous with blowing and/or drifting snow and may be icy.

Cincinnati police implemented emergency auto accident reporting procedures on Sunday and those also remain in place as of Wednesday morning. If you are involved in a non-injury accident, exchange info with the other drivers & report the accident at one of the District locations when you are able.
