The 142nd Wing from Portland Air National Guard Base will conduct Independence Day flyovers Thursday for ceremonies and parades throughout Oregon, including Salem, Turner, Mt. Angel, St. Paul and Mill City.
All passes will be approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and about 400 mph airspeed. Flights could be canceled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies, according to an Oregon Military Department news release.
The Oregon Air Guard’s F-15 Eagle fighter jets are scheduled to conduct flyovers for 17 community locations at, or around, the following designated times Thursday:
