The said Publix is on the Treasure Coast of Florida, which includes Indian River County, Martin County and St. Lucie County. The Quick Pick ticket came from Publix, 3253 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie. That Publix location is part of the Darwin Shopping Plaza.

Deadline to claim a Powerball or Mega Millions grand prize or a $1 million secondary prize varies by state (see below).

A “second-tier” win means a player correctly matched five numbers in the Powerball and Mega Millions lottery, and the overall jackpot typically rolls over.
