Light to moderate snow will continue through the afternoon, then pick up in intensity this evening and overnight. A band of snow near the lake may linger through midday Friday, but inland areas will dry out early Friday morning.
There is a possibility for lake enhancement and heavier snow on Thursday night, especially up north, so travel will be messy during that time frame. The highest impacts overall will be Thursday evening and Friday morning. This will be heavy, wet snow as temperatures hover near or just below freezing. Be prepared for slushy roads and take your time shoveling.
