A 33-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a father of six on Christmas Day.
Kirsty Carless is accused of killing Louis Price, 31, who was found dead at a property in Norton Canes, Staffordshire, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to Elm Road at around 3:30am after reports that a man had suffered a cardiac arrest. Mr Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of his death has not yet been revealed, although a post-mortem is understood to have taken place on Boxing Day.
A neighbour said: âHis poor parents were away on holiday when it happened. They will be absolutely devastated, and my heart goes out to them.

âYou couldnât think of anything worse to have on Christmas Day. It has shocked and saddened the whole little community here. It is beyond belief.â
Staffordshire Police said a referral had been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct âdue to recent police contactâ.
Paying tribute to Mr Price, his family said he âalways had a smile on his face and brought a positive energy to anywhere he wentâ.
They added: âLouis was a devoted fisherman. He had a passion for fishing and regularly went away on trips with friends and family. He loved football, he played for a team and was a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa.
âAs a family, we are devastated at losing Louis. Life will never be the same without him, he leaves a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.
âChristmas is a time we have always spent together as a family, to lose Louis at this time is even harder.â
Mr Priceâs family said he was the father of four daughters and two sons who he âloved dearlyâ.
Ms Carless is due to appear at North Staffordshire magistratesâ court on Saturday.
