
Feb. 23—MOORHEAD — One person died Saturday evening, Feb. 22, following a head-on collision on Highway 75 north of Moorhead, according to a report released by the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the report:
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday on Highway 75 at mile marker 254 in Oakport Township in Clay County.
The State Patrol said an SUV driven by Christopher T. Pink, 28, of Moorhead, was driving northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 75 when it collided with a Jeep traveling southbound on Highway 75.

Pink suffered no major injuries, according to the State Patrol, which said the driver of the Jeep, identified by the State Patrol as a 43-year-old female from Ennis, Texas, died as a result of the crash.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles, according to the State Patrol.
Alcohol was said to be involved.
