The coroner’s office has confirmed that a man and woman who died in a double shooting is a murder-suicide.

Emily Stovall, 23, died from multiple gunshot wounds on Nov. 7 and her manner of death is a homicide, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
Jacob Osterhaus, 25, also died at the scene. The coroner’s office said he died by suicide.

As previously reported by News Center 7, officers and medics responded on Nov. 7 to reports of a shooting at the 1600 block of Russet Avenue.

Both Stovall and Osterhaus were found shot.
A neighbor told News Center 7 what she saw after hearing shots.
“There were people around there and one gentleman was like ‘You shot her! you shot her!’ and the guy from the house was yelling,” Debbie Owen said.
Police blocked off the street as they investigated.
Neighbors say there were multiple people in the home at the time of the shooting. Police could not confirm this.
“With all the commotion going on, I saw a gentleman walking down the street with a child about 3,” Owen said.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene.
Police could not confirm what led up to the deadly shooting.
“We are currently not looking for any suspects and we believe we have everybody at the scene accounted for,” Maj. Jason Hall with Dayton police said.
Stovall’s family is taking care of her four-year-old son.
