Zuckerberg Warns of Higher-Than-Expected CapEx at Meta in 2025

(Bloomberg) — Meta Platforms Inc. Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said his company will invest between $60 billion and $65 billion in capital expenditures related to artificial intelligence in 2025, well above the figure analysts had been projecting.

Zuckerberg announced the spending estimates in a Facebook post on Friday. Investors were expecting capital expenditures of $51.3 billion in 2025, according to Bloomberg-compiled estimates. Shares of Meta fell in premarket trading in New York.
