A 2-year-old girl who was one of three people shot in a single incident in Durham last week has died from her injuries.
An adult man, an adult woman and the 2-year-old girl, were shot at 8:14 p.m. June 20 on East. Cornwallis Road.
The woman is the girl’s 19-year-old mother, and the pair were visiting the teen’s boyfriend at Campus Crossings at Durham Apartments when someone fired into their car, according to ABC11, The News & Observer’s newsgathering partner.
The case remains active and no other information was released, according to a Durham Police news release.
