A driver was taken to the hospital with “minor to moderate injuries” on April 4, after crashing their vehicle into a garage in California.
Footage captured by Richard Hernandez’s doorbell camera shows the moment the car launched into the garage of a Jurupa Valley home.
Later, the vehicle was seen on its side in front of the damaged garage.
Riverside County Fire Department told Storyful they responded to a “vehicle versus garage” incident around 6:30 am, and that their unit reported the car was “into a structure with major damage.”
“The driver of the vehicle was able to self-extricate prior to fire department arrival”, the department said in a statement. “The driver suffered minor to moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance for further treatment.”
