Karachi: Sarah Gill is Pakistan’s first transgender doctor to get a job at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center (JPMC). She got the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and became the first transgender doctor of Pakistan. She passed the exam from the Jinnah Medical and Dental College and graduated from Karachi University.

On the direction of the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, the country’s first transgender doctor Dr. Sarah Gill got a house job in Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center (JPMC). Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had directed the Sindh Chief Minister to give an immediate job to her. Today, Dr. Sarah met Prof. Shahid Rasool, Executive Director, JPMC, and received the House Job Order. Earlier, she said;
Being transgender, I faced many serious problems in my education and personal life but I never lost my courage.
Pakistan Cricket Board showed the video of Gill and applauded her works, shared some of her important social work on Twitter, and called her “Unsung Heroes”.
