Two quick-thinking barbers in East Hartford, Connecticut, jumped into action to save a child they noticed running in the street towards traffic.
Security footage from April 10 shows the moment the two barbers dashed out the door once they noticed the girl running by the shop and towards a busy street. In the video, one of the barbers can be seen scooping up the child just in time. Police said the girl escaped from her mother.
Osvaldo Lugo, one of the barbers, posted about the incident on Instagram, and described it as “a scary experience.”
