Dianne Buswell has left her co-star’s heart ‘melted’ as she shared a sweet baby update after ditching UK. The Strictly Come Dancing star recently finished her period of time on the road with a number of her pals from the BBC One dance contest.
Dianne was among the show’s professional dancers, alongside the likes of Vito Coppola, Gorka Marquez, Nancy Xu, Karen Hauer and Nikita Kuzmin, to head out on tour with the Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals 2024 tour which wrapped over the weekend.
After the string of shows came to an end, Dianne was reunited with her boyfriend Joe Sugg and the pair wasted no time in headed to the airport where they boarded a flight straight to Australia, where Dianne is from.

It’s the first time that Dianne has been reunited with her family since her dad finished his chemotherapy treatment. The dancer bravely opened up about the “difficult time” she had been having away from the dance floor towards the end of last year after she sparked concern Strictly.
She later revealed that she received some concerning news about her dad’s health. Then in November, she shared more about her dad’s diagnosis as she took to Instagram to wish her father well ahead of his first round of chemotherapy treatment.
But in April, Dianne offered a positive update on her father’s road to recovery, revealing Mark had officially finished his chemotherapy treatment. She posted a video in which her dad could be seen in various pictures and clips from over the course of his treatment as she branded him her “hero” and told how she wish she could have been there with him.
Despite declaring they needed to plan a trip to the UK for both her parents, Dianne has instead made the trip to Oz after her brother welcomed his second child into the world. Sharing a video compilation of clips of her and Joe meeting the little bundle of joy for the first time while also keeping his older sister entertained, Dianne said: “Today was a good day…”
She continued: “we woke up in Australia had a morning coffee with mum and dad met baby Roman saw how much miss zofia had grown! And have set off on an Australian road trip adventure with mum dad and joe. Feeling extremely lucky and jet lagged #Australia #home #family.”
And Strictly co-star and upcoming touring partner Vito was quick to respond to the post as the Italian star wrote in the comments: “Omg. This is just beautiful. It’s melting my heart. Send you all my love to you family. Have the best time and enjoy every single moment of it.”
Her fans and followers were also quick to respond as they wished her well on her trip. @deb.farnsworth.1 said: “Have a wonderful time Di and Jo, your Dad looks so well and baby Roman is so sweet.” @millssgrace_ commented: “This is too cute 🙁 so glad you’re back home and having a well deserved rest.”
