Supreme Court strikes down Trump-era federal ban on bump stocks
The ruling, issued on June 14, found that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives exceeded its authority by saying a bump stock attachment on a rifle reclassified the weapon as a machine gun.
