A DoorDash delivery driver has been fired after being heard say the N-word in video recorded on the doorstep of a black customer’s home.
The footage was shared on TikTok by Christina H, of Old Hickory, Tennessee.
In the video, the man, who hasn’t been identified, can be seen approaching Christina’s door and says “Here’s your food n*****.”
As he’s leaving, he says, “Chow down n*****.”
“Did he not see my Ring camera?” Christina wrote in the caption, in which she tagged DoorDash. “Fire him immediately,” she said.
In a statement to the Atlanta Black Star, DoorDash said the driver was no longer employed by the company.
“We’re horrified and appalled by this incident. Make no mistake – we have zero tolerance for racism,” the statement read. “This incident violates both our policies and what we believe in. We have deactivated this Dasher account and reached out to the customer.”
