The driver was arrested and charged with road traffic offences. They will appear in court on Monday, May 13.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: “Glasgow Road Police stopped this driver at a road check on Keppochill Road yesterday.

“They tried to lie about who they are, however, it didn’t fool our officers. They were arrested and given a room with no view for the weekend.”
