Karachi Blast Update: A blast reported in Karachi University, a van which was carrying Chinese nationals was targeted several feared dead and injured. As per the police and source, it was an IED blast and the chemicals were found, but it is yet to be confirmed. Injured moving to the nearby hospital. Police and Rangers have arrived at the scene, bomb disposal squad is monitoring the situation. The route of the blast is right from the Maskan Chowrangi gate. two women also died in the incident. A blast occurred outside the Confucius Institute. According to eyewitnesses, another vehicle collided with the vehicle of a foreign teacher, and after the collision, the vehicle exploded, killing the van driver and 3 Chinese nationals. It was a Hiace van after the blast the van caught huge fire.

DIG East confirms that the blast at Karachi University was a targeted attack, and the Chinese nationals were the main target. Rangers personnel are also injured in the attack. A female who carried out the suicide bombing in #Karachi University was from Majeed Brigade of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) which also claims responsibility. spokesperson of the defunct org says that the suicide attack was carried out by a female bomber Shari Baloch.
