Protests over a controversial tax and finance bill in Kenya turned deadly with police reportedly opening fire and killing several demonstrators as they breached the parliament building in the capital Nairobi. There are reports of internet disruptions and broadcaster KTN said it was threatened with closure over its protest coverage.
