In this regard, the Ministry of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has declared 40 days of mourning for the death of Sheikh Khalifa Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi. A statement issued by the ministry said that during this period, the national flag of the United Arab Emirates will remain flown at half-mast for 40 days starting from today, while work in all ministries and agencies of the UAE has been suspended from today. No work will be done in ministries, departments, federal and local institutions, and the private sector will be suspended for 3 days starting from today.
