A 14-year-old girl that was believed to have been abducted near Kings Automall Thursday afternoon was found safe in North Carolina.
Hailey Wagoner was seen leaving the automall in Deerfield Township with a man around 2:05 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Just after 10 p.m. later that evening, the sheriff’s office posted an update on X, which read, “We are extremely grateful to say that Hailey has been found and is safe and secure. There will be more information regarding the criminal case as we piece this complex case together.”
The sheriff’s office added that they are working to reunite Wagoner with her family.

A Facebook user by the name of Jamie Denicola, who claims to be Wagoner’s mother, also said in a post that her daughter has been found in North Carolina and the man she was with has been taken into custody.
