Test cricketer Abid Ali ‘feeling significantly better’ after angioplasty

Pakistan Test opener Abid Ali was diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome on Tuesday. Abid underwent angioplasty on Wednesday, at a private hospital in Karachi.

As per the details, the test cricketer Abid Ali is “feeling significantly better” but will remain under observation for the next two days.

Ali has featured in 16 Tests and six one-day internationals (ODIs) for Pakistan over the course of his brief career, so far.

Ali requested people to pray for his early recovery, as per the video released by Ali. He felt chest pain on Tuesday, after which he was taken to the hospital for treatment where he underwent an angioplasty.

 

“I am thankful to God as I faring well,” said Abid Ali while recording his video. “I request all of you to pray for me as I have a small medical procedure tomorrow. So I request all my family members, fans and all my well-wishers to pray for me.”

Ali is currently stable, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in the statement.
